本文结合现阶段高中生的构成特点和高中英语的教学现状,指出分层次教学是面向全体学生,全面提高语言知识和能力,实施素质教育的有效途径。教师在教学的各个环节,应根据学生各自心理特征,各自的语言知识,各自的接受能力,确立以学生为主体的意识,有区别地制出教学目标、教学要求,设计教学内容,控制教学进度,变换授课方式,创王科学评估体系,面向全体学生,全面提高语言整体素质,促进每个学生在最合适自己的英语学习环境求得最佳的发展。
