一民国时期名满海内外的“政治和尚”太虚法师说:“获证文字三昧因缘之奇,古今无逾和尚者。”太虚所指和尚,便是近代著名的传奇爱国诗僧释敬安。同行往往容易相轻,文人尤为显著,而同为佛门、文苑中人,太虚对释敬安却如此尊奉,敬安之高卓可想而知。
