随着国内和新疆的舞台艺术发展的趋势,叙事越来越成为舞台艺术创作的主体是组织和描写生活的总纲,它自始至终主导着舞台艺术的创作活动。本文从古代东西方舞台艺术的重要论述入手,结合国内最新舞台艺术成果阐述叙事性在舞台艺术的故事情节设计、音乐、舞美、服装的作用和意义,同时就新疆作为多民族集聚的地方,有着丰富的舞台艺术表现的题材与素材,从中选用经典的民族元素用最适合某种现代舞台表现的形式得以展示,在创作中使叙事性情节变得更加丰富,剧情更加丰富,主题更加鲜明,大大提升了新疆舞台艺术作品的观赏性、思想性、艺术性。
