由于液晶面板生产工艺的升级,大尺寸显示面板与小尺寸的显示面板之间的成本差异越来越小,去年的宽屏、大屏笔记本电脑热就是一个佐证。而在今年,传统CRT市场竞争已达到白热化,日前就已传出某颇有名气的品牌一日之间倒闭的新闻,可见转向LCD市场是厂商提高利润的惟一途径。只是消费类LCD市场迟迟未能火爆,那么宽屏、大屏LCD,以及液晶电视就当然成为了厂商的市场试探点。
