Indian scholar Daya Tu is currently teaching at the University of Westminster in Britain and is one of the leading figures in the multidimensional interpretation, reconstruction and theorization of the concept of international communication. He has both the practice of international journalists and the solid knowledge of history and international relations. In the academic research orientation, Tu Su placed the media and communication in the macroscopic sight, tried to break the research paradigm dominated by “Global Beiying” from multiple dimensions, integrated Western communication into the Nanying discourse And practice of communication research. 1 Although Tu Su was a high-yielding scholar, his research on scholarly research was relatively few except for one popular international communication teaching material “International Dissemination: Continuation and Change”. This article seeks to trace and summarize his major academic achievements and draws a brief comment on the two paths of political, economic and cultural studies.
