湖北化纤集团公司是我国生产粘胶纤维的、国家重点扶持的512家大型企业之一,公司现有职工8000余人,其中科技人员有1300余名。公司科协成立于1988年,现行会员499人,下设23个会员组,7个专业技术学组和一个专业技术协会。公司总经理任科协主席,配备3名科协专职干部。公司科协在贯彻实施中国科协开展的“建设科技工作者之家”活动以来,坚持尊重知识、尊重人才的方针,充分调动广大科技工作者的积极性、主动性和创造性,在企业党组织和行政领导的支持下,努力为科技工作者服务,并做好企业科技进步各项工作,不断增强自身的影响力、凝聚力和实力,努力创新有利于人才成长的工作机制和工作方法,通过开展积极的组织建设和思想
