2004年5月,一名年仅5岁的德国肥胖小孩,因为较同龄儿童平均体重高出大约2倍的40公斤的体重,而导致患Ⅱ型糖尿病死亡,成为目前世界上年龄最小的糖尿病死亡病例。这一残酷的事实,为全人类的儿童健康敲响了警钟,让全球将儿童健康提上一个“正视和重视”的议事日程,更让一些走入误区的中国家长们不得不重新定位孩子的健康问题。
