利用带通和高通滤波器测量了强相对论电子注产生的亚毫米波辐射,在390μm-540μm通带中,已经测量到的辐射功率约为100千瓦。辐射的产生取决于能否给电子注一个垂直于磁场的方向的很大的能量分量。对于所观察到的辐射的相干波产生机理进行了讨论。
The sub-millimeter wave radiation generated by the intense relativistic electron injection was measured by bandpass and high-pass filters and the measured radiated power was about 100 kilowatts in the 390 μm-540 μm passband. The generation of radiation depends on whether the electron is injected with a large amount of energy perpendicular to the magnetic field. The observed mechanism of coherent wave generation by radiation is discussed.
