近年来,随着我国经济体制的开放搞活,利用化石制作工艺品的工艺正如雨后春笋般的在全国一些地区迅速的开展。化石工艺,顾名思义就是用一些常见的古生物化石为原料,以精湛的工艺技术加工成精美的艺术品。使其既具有珍贵的收藏价值又有耐人寻味的工艺价值。目前,这种独特的化石艺术品正走红于工艺艺术领域,受到国内外顾客的青睐,成为工艺艺术领域中的一支新秀。
