英国国家核实验室(NNL)从12个月前就开始跟中核集团接洽联合建立核能研究实验室。现在中英双方的政府都已经同意投资,英国政府表示在未来的五年时间里陆陆续续要为这个研究中心投资2500万英镑,中核集团也会投入同样的金额。现阶段的计划是在未来的6个月之内在英国成立联合研究中心,关于其进一步规划还在商讨中。联合研究中心的成立原由记者(以下简称记):这个研究中心是不是英国历史上第一个有外国公司参与成立的核能研发中心?Chris Moore(以下简称Chris):我们以前跟日本也有过合作,但是仅仅是基于一个小项目上的共同研究,项目结束
The National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) started approaching CNNC 12 months ago to establish a nuclear energy research laboratory. Now both the Chinese and British governments have agreed to invest. The British government said that it will invest another 25 million pounds in this research center over the next five years, and CNNC will invest the same amount. The plan at this stage is to set up a joint research center in the UK within the next 6 months, and its further planning is still under discussion. The Origin of the Joint Research Center Reporter: Is this research center the first nuclear energy R & D center in the history of the United Kingdom involving foreign companies? Chris Moore (Chris): We have also worked with Japan before, But just based on a small project on joint research, the project is over
