联合国在太平洋上的夏威夷群岛举办“世界儿童与动物联欢大会”,特邀威威和他的小伙伴芳芳、牛牛、淘陶、皮皮、豆豆,金雁太阳鸟、公狗小帅哥、母猫波斯妞出席大会。夏威夷真美呀!这里海水蔚蓝,沙滩辽阔,热带风光旖旎,棕榈树像绿伞,桃金娘花红艳艳。大会盛况空前,有来自世界各地的黄孩子、黑孩子、白孩子；有飞禽、走兽、昆虫、鱼类。他们都是人与动物友爱的典范。联合国秘书长致辞。他说：“我们生活在一个充满生命的世界。美丽多样的生命使地球生机盎然。现代文明告诉我们,人与动物是朋友,中国男孩威威的故事,像一把智慧的钥匙,为我们打开了动物世界之门!”
