编辑同志: 近年来,广大农民的物质生活有了很大改善,温饱问题基本得到解决。然而政治文化生活却相对较少。有些地方一年内开不了几次群众大会,且开会只是讲讲要做的中心工作,很少组织群众学文化、学技术、学法律和党的政策。农民文化素质得不到提高,不但制约了农业新技术的普及、推广,而且不利于党在农村各项政策的贯彻落实。
Editing Comrades: In recent years, the material livelihoods of the majority of peasants have been greatly improved, and the problem of adequate food and clothing has been basically solved. However, political and cultural life is relatively small. In some places, a few mass meetings can not be opened in a year, and the meetings are only about the central work to be done, and the organization of the masses in the fields of culture, technology, law and party policy is seldom organized. The lack of improvement in the cultural quality of peasants not only restricted the popularization and promotion of new agricultural technologies, but also hindered the implementation of the party’s policies in the rural areas.
