“Where have you been recently?” This should be a general practitioner’s question about patients. As socio-economic development progresses, more and more people in the GP population serve both international and domestic travel. There are also immigrants who receive local community health services and the health problems caused by travel are also increasingly prominent. In this case, Professor Mota passed a case of dengue fever, suggesting that we should pay attention to the patient’s recent travel history and career background, in order to obtain a reference to support the diagnosis. In addition to dengue fever, WHO has also raised a series of issues of concern to travel medicine such as Chikungunya fever, cholera, Congo-Hemorrhagic fever of the Crimea, infectious hepatitis, HIV infection, Japanese encephalitis, malaria, epidemics Meningitis (meningitis), poliomyelitis, rabies, schistosomiasis, tuberculosis, yellow fever and so on.
