2003年8月,在冯恩洪校长的举荐下,经由群众投票、上级批准,我接任建平中学校长。按照冯校长的“由外围逐步向核心逼近”的战略规划,我针对“有学校文化之形,无学校文化之神;有课程改革之名,无课程文化之实;学校文化存在同质化、低质化、浅表化现象”这三种基础教育学校中普遍存在的问题,提出了自己的理念:学校文化应该向深层次发展,学校教育的现代化核心应该是学校文化精神的现代化,要实现从学校的价值取向、办学理念的现代化,到办学模式、行为方式、管理制度、运行机制等方面的现代化,学校课程设置要着眼于向内用力,致力于完善学生人格,要具有先进性、科学性和与时俱进的动态发展性等特征。

The school curriculum should focus on making inward efforts and perfecting student’s personality. Advanced, scientific and advancing with the times of the dynamic development and other characteristics.
