临床上,抗癌药的剂量限制性副作用主要是化疗药物导致的周围神经毒性(CIPN)。约有40%以上的病人使用化疗药物后产生严重的神经病变。近来发现通过一些治疗可以改善或减轻化疗药物导致的CIPN,一些新的药物被认为是神经保护剂,对预防或治疗CIPN有效。但是临床前及临床研究结果与现有理论的推论相背。本文介绍了最新的研究结果,客观地反映了生长因子治疗CIPN的效果。
Clinically, dose-limiting side effects of anticancer drugs are primarily chemotherapeutic-induced peripheral neurotoxicity (CIPN). About 40% of patients using chemotherapy drugs have serious neuropathy. Recently, it has been found that CIPN caused by chemotherapy drugs can be ameliorated or reduced by some treatments. Some new drugs are considered as neuroprotective agents and are effective in preventing or treating CIPN. However, the preclinical and clinical findings are contrary to the corollary of existing theories. This article presents the latest findings that objectively reflect the effects of growth factors on CIPN.
