荆门石化以“文化软实力”打造“安全硬支撑”。被中国石化集团授予“2012年度安全生产先进单位”称号,实现了安全生产“六连冠”。2012年10月23日,中国石化集团公司董事长、党组书记傅成玉到荆门石化调研,在联合四车间参观加氢改质装置时,看到墙上安全文化展板上员工子女给自己爸爸妈妈写的安全寄语和画的安全小漫画,傅成玉很感兴趣。他当即要求随行的中国石化报社负责人在全系统宣传推广荆门石化的安全文化的经验。
