This 16th-century high-rise building along the Paris Ring Road in the 1960s accommodates 96 apartments. Initially, people assumed that the building was demolished and later decided to expand the project. The expansion of the building adds a new panel of independent support structure to the perimeter of each floor of the original building to expand the living space and create a wraparound balcony.
