王自勇系冀派内画艺术传承人,省级非物质文化遗产项目代表性传承人,先后被评为河北省工艺美术大师、中国内画艺术大师,系衡水市冀派内画协会主席,中国工艺美术学会中国鼻烟壶专业委员会副会长。他的内画肖像作品刻画细腻高雅,气韵生动,形神兼备;山水作品气势磅礴,墨色深厚,独创内画浓墨山水画法先河。内画代表作《牧归图》《风雪芦雁》《春江渔乐》等。主编有《中国内画图典》《冀派内画名家·精品赏析》《冀派内画图典》《中国工艺美术大师——王习三》《冀派内画艺术》等书刊。在推进内画艺术产业化过程中,他首创“衡水三绝”礼品,开发出习三内画艺术酒,因获多项国家专利,荣获“河北省优秀发明者”称号。他创建的习三
