中国地震工作20年学术交流与表彰大会,经过与会同志5天的共同努力.已达到了预期目的,今天就要圆满结束了.我们这次大会自始至终得到了党中央、国务院领导同志的支持和关怀.会议前,李鹏副总理亲自听取了会议筹备情况的汇报.会议期间,周谷城副委员长参观了我们举办的地震科技展览会,并为展览会剪彩、题词.今天下午4点半,李鹏副总理、周谷城副委员长、严济慈副委员长、国务委员宋健同志,以及其他领导同志,将在百忙之中出席我们的大会,接见全体代表,并和我们合影留念.会上李鹏副总理还将作重要的讲话.这一切表明,党中央和国务院对我国地震事业十分关心和重视,这对地震战线广大职工是极大的鼓舞和鞭策.
