In 1949, the fate of China has reached an unprecedented important juncture. Under the imminent pressure of dominance, Chiang Kai-shek embarked on the long-expected plan of action: he immediately ordered to seize the gold secrets of the Kuomintang and the “Central Bank” Shanghai Treasury.
