钢叉本是农具,农民在劳作间隙自娱自乐,竟也能秀出艺术来。舞钢叉在全国各地都有,但像曲周县安寨镇南阳庄村那样,至今保留一套较为原始社火仪式的,却凤毛麟角。农历七月三十,对这里的村民来说,绝不是一个一般意义上的社火日,其一,它是300多年前始祖南方艺人在此授艺的日子,其二,它是阎王爷生日。可见这里的社火至少应该有两层含义,一是感恩、纪念,二是祭祀、祈福。
