全部诗学的核心问题 ,是主人公问题。不曾区分出两种不同的主人公 ,是历史上各种诗学体系的重大缺陷。天才作品产生于灵感 ,天才主人公是某种实现了自我肯定的人性。非天才作品产生于作者的“辛勤劳动” ,非天才主人公本质上只是作者的牵线木偶 ,它缺乏的是真正的积极进取精神。非天才主人公是某种命运、至多也只是某种性格的载体。言“意境”、言“典型”、以及言“意象” ,都不如言主人公 ,因为主人公问题可以包容所有这些问题。辨识出两种不同主人公 ,是判断一件作品之艺术价值的基本根据。
The core issue of all poetics is the protagonist problem. No distinction between two different protagonists is a major defect in the various poetics systems in history. Genius comes from inspiration, genius protagonists are some kind of self-affirmed humanity. Non-genius works stem from the author’s “hard work,” and the non-genius protagonist is essentially the author’s marionette. What it lacks is true proactiveness. Non-genius protagonists are some kind of fate, at best, only some kind of character carrier. Saying “mood”, saying “typical”, and saying “image” are not as good as the main character, because the heroine problem can accommodate all these problems. Identifying two different protagonists is the basic basis for judging the artistic value of a piece of work.
