秋珍82岁了,但耳聪目明,思维敏捷,精神矍铄。一般老人到了这个年龄,大多含饴弄孙、安享天伦了,可秋珍闲不住:整天不是骑着自行车奔波采访、巡回连队做关心下一代工作,就是积极参与老年人的各种社会活动,组织老年摄影协会成员开展书法图片展览或外出采风。秋珍不是专业记者,却十分热爱新闻写作,离休后更是一发不可收拾:白天外出拍照,晚上加班写稿,成了一名比新闻记者更投入的“业余记者”;从早些年他每天坚持从邮局往各报刊寄一篇稿件,到如今每天在电脑上用邮件向各报刊发稿,十多年来,他每年平均要在各类刊物上发表摄影类稿件200余篇,其中国家级刊物上15篇以上。他先后被《人民摄影报》及三个省级老年报刊聘为特约记者。
