中太平洋西部沉积物的样品,是1978年由参加首次全球大气考察的《向阳红零九》号考察船采集的。调查分两个海区进行:一区海底由西北向东南倾斜,水深3437—5443m,西部沉积物主要是钙质软泥,东部为红粘土;二区海底由西南向东北倾斜,水深2178—4761m,沉积物主要是钙质软泥。我们共分析了10个表层样品和二区一个岩芯的43个样品。样品制成溶液后,在WFD-1/2型原子吸收光谱仪上进行测定,研究结果得出如下规律:
The samples of sediments from the western Pacific Ocean were collected by the “Xiangyangghongjiu” survey ship in 1978 for the first time in the global atmosphere. The survey was carried out in two sea areas: the seafloor of a district slopes from northwest to southeast with a water depth of 3437-5443m; the sediments in western China are mainly calcareous mud and the eastern part is red clay; the seabed of the second district is inclined from southwest to northeast with a water depth of 2178-4761m, Sediment is mainly calcareous mud. We analyzed a total of 43 samples from 10 surface samples and one core from Zone 2.
