我馆自建馆以来,由于利用工作频繁和其他种种原因,始终未能腾出手来对全部档案进行全面彻底地检查,因而家底不够清楚,数字不够精确。这给馆內各项工作的开展,在一定程度上造成了被动。为了据转这种局面,保证党和国家机密的绝对安全,加强统计工作,根据省档案管理局的指示,经馆领导研究决定,于1964年5月至11月,用7个月的时间,对我馆所保管的全部档案,进行了一次全面彻底地检查,统计工作。经过这次检查,取得的成绩是显著的:肯定了过去几年来档案工作各个环节的成就和正确经验的成果,进一步查清了家庭,核实了全部档案的数量,解决了档案
