2010年11月11日二十国集团在韩国首尔举行了第五次峰会,本次会议将以汇率、全球金融安全网、国际金融组织改革和发展为四大主要议题。自二十国集团逐渐从全球治理的边缘走向中心,成为国际经济合作的主要平台,尤其是二十国峰会召开并逐步机制化以来,二十国集团在应对全球经济危机,促进世界经济复苏和现行金融体制改革方面表现突出,地位和作用显著提高。更为重要的是,二十国集团已逐渐由应对经济危机向改革现存国际经济体系转变,触及了国际经济格局中话语权的分配问题。正因为如此,二十国集团在后经济危机时代的发展和走向令世人关注。
