位于青岛市北部交通枢纽地带的城阳区,是外商云集、宏图大展的风水宝地。近期,特别引人注目的是正在破土动工的台湾永丰余包装、矩祥电子、台湾新村、台商工业园等一批大项目和工业园的开发建设,呈现出一派生机勃勃的气象。面对慕名而来的记者,台湾事务办公室谢宗华主任面带微笑,他如数家珍般地说起这些项目的引进和进展情况。交谈中流露出城阳对台招商前景的憧憬和信心。城阳区台湾事务办公室,是2001年从区统战部分离出来独立工作的,区委区政府明确了台办工作职能,进行了编制,配备了良好的硬件设备。依靠区委区政府对台办的信任和国家对台商的优惠政策,台办一班人铺下身子,充分发挥天时地利的优势,像对待自己的亲人一样对待台商,并不遗余力、脚踏实地、千方百计地为台商的事业出主意、想办法、谋发展,台商纷至沓来。截至目前,全区合同利用台资已达3.28亿美元,实际利用台资1.46亿美元。居全省县(市)区前列。
