1927年大革命失败后,中国共产党组织在白色恐怖下秘密出版《民众旬刊》,内容旨在弘扬工农民众运动,抨击以蒋介石为代表的新军阀以及尚未完全退出历史舞台的旧军阀的倒行逆施。这份刊物是由处在秘密状态下的中共江苏省委宣传部领导,由重建的国民党上海市党部(左派)党团(C.P.)主持,名义上和中国济难会上海市总会合办,并请著名作家郁达夫担任主编。于是,郁达夫便有了直接或间接地与中国共产党人的一次密切合作。
After the failure of the Great Revolution in 1927, the Communist Party of China secretly published the “People’s Daily Journal” under white terror. The contents were intended to carry forward the popular movement of workers and peasants, attack the new warlords represented by Chiang Kai-shek and the old warlords that had not completely withdrawn from the arena of history. The publication, led by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee under the Secret State, was chaired by the reconstructed Shanghai Party Branch (Left) Party of the Kuomintang (KMT) and nominally co-organized with the Shanghai Municipal Federation of China Economic Reunification and Please famous editor Yu Dafu as editor in chief. Thus, Yu Dafu has had a direct or indirect close cooperation with the Chinese Communists.
