创建爱婴医院是保护、促进和支持母乳喂养,优化儿童生存环境,提高儿童生命质量所采取的重要措施;也是改革医院传统的服务模式,深化妇幼卫生改革的有益尝试;还是临床与保健相结合的范例。珠海市为把中国的爱婴行动向深度和广度推进一步,开展了创建爱婴市活动,并把创建爱婴市工作提高到战略高度来认识。通过创建爱婴市,不仅对特区精神文明建设具有重要影响,也对特区的经济建设起到了推波助澜的作用。同时,促进了医院服务模式的转变,找到了临床与保健相结合的操作点,建立了爱婴服务机制,扩大了医院的服务功能,促进了医德医风的根本好转。
