中外文互译涉及社会文化、习俗等领域时,多见译不达全意,甚或不可译现象。而互译之目的,不外乎在于将不可译变通为尽可能最大限度地译出原文,以实现原文作者力图达到的语境效果。基于此,结合日语谚语翻译实践中的相关经验就其不可译性进行初步的探讨。
In the fields of social culture, customs and other fields where mutual translation of Chinese and foreign languages is concerned, it is often seen that there are no satisfactory or even untranslatable phenomena. The purpose of mutual translation, nothing more than that of the untranslatable to try to translate the original text as much as possible, in order to achieve the original author trying to achieve the context effect. Based on this, a preliminary discussion of its untranslatability is made based on the relevant experience in the translation of Japanese proverbs.
