This article analyzes the influence of the negative transfer of mother tongue on the vocabulary application in college students’ English writing from the aspects of part of speech errors, word meaning errors and logic conjunctions. Based on the analysis, the corresponding vocabulary teaching strategies are put forward, including strengthening the part-of-speech memory of words, changing the way of word meaning memory and strengthening the comparison of the difference between Chinese and English words.
