随着中国对外开放程度的日益扩大,以及世界政治、经济一体化、全球化步伐的不断加快。语言,尤其是英语作为世界性的语言,在国际交流、交往与合作过程中的巨大工具作用尤显重要,因此对大学英语教学的要求也水涨船高。与传统的教学手段相比,多媒体教学有着无可比拟的优势,如它具有信息量大、多样化、生动直观等特点。但是,随着多媒体技术普遍用于大学英语教学中,笔者发现,很多问题随之而来。本文着力探讨基于多媒体大学英语教学的利与弊,并探索解决方法。
With the increasing expansion of China’s opening up to the outside world and the world’s political and economic integration, the pace of globalization has been accelerating. The role of language, especially English, as a global language in the process of international exchange, communication and cooperation is of great importance. Therefore, the demand for college English teaching is also on the rise. Compared with the traditional teaching methods, multimedia teaching has unparalleled advantages, such as it has a large amount of information, diversity, vivid and intuitive features. However, with multimedia technology commonly used in college English teaching, I found that many problems followed. This article focuses on the pros and cons of multimedia college English teaching and explores the solutions.
