由IEEE计算机协会仿真委员会、测试技术委员会和科学仪器制造专业委员会联合主办的第7届快速系统原型机国际研讨会于1996年6月19—21日在希腊塞萨洛尼基的PortoCarras举行。与会者50余人,宣读论文31篇。论文按内容可分为三大类:电子系统设计方法及由FPGA构造的仿真器;电子系统硬件软件的再设计与再模拟;快速系统原型机算法。会议规模不大,但它所讨论的利用快速原型机方法验证设计方案和快速开发新电子系统的课题,在当前电子系统和集成电路设计领域中受到广泛重视。设计与模拟是完成一个电子系统(大规模和超大规模集成电路可看作集成于一个芯片上的特殊的电子系统)制作前期两个极其重要的阶段。设计是按使用要求由设计者设想出一套电子线路加以实现,使设计的电路功能与指标达到预定要求。模拟是根据设计的电子线路通过一定的手段来验证该电子线路是否符合设计要求,使设计中的问题在早期就得以解决。
The 7th International Symposium on Rapid Prototyping Systems, co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Simulation Committee, the Test Technology Council, and the Scientific Instruments Manufacturing Commission was held on June 19-21, 1996, in PortoCarras, Thessaloniki, Greece. More than 50 participants, read papers 31. Papers can be divided into three categories according to the content: the design of electronic systems and FPGAs constructed by the FPGA; redesign and re-simulation of electronic hardware and software systems; rapid prototyping algorithms. The conference was not large in scale, but the topics it discussed to validate design solutions using rapid prototyping and to rapidly develop new electronic systems were widely recognized in the current field of electronic systems and integrated circuit design. Design and simulation are two extremely important phases in the early stages of the production of an electronic system (large and very large scale integrated circuits can be thought of as a special electronic system integrated on a single chip). Design is based on the requirements of the use of the designer to envision a set of electronic circuits to be achieved, the design of circuit functions and indicators to meet the predetermined requirements. Simulation is based on the design of electronic circuits through certain means to verify that the electronic circuit meets the design requirements, the design problems in the early to be resolved.
