饮食加热间十二月下旬的一天,南京市受着冷高压空气的控制,气温已降至摄氏零度以下,可是,我们踏进夫子庙小学传达室,却感到有点儿暖和。我们正想看看这里是不是安装了什么暖气设备,抬眼只见屋子里半边有个煤炉在升腾着熊熊的火焰哩。再仔细一看,那边角角的桌子上还摆了钢精锅等炊具。原来,这里做了饮食加热间了!学校党支部书记兼校长朱碧华同志告诉我们说,他们学校老师们都是参加附近“秦淮食堂”吃饭的,有时有人出去开会,回来迟了,赶不上吃饭;有的女教师有喂奶的孩子,从食堂打饭菜到学校来,吃时已经不很热了;还有少数老师由于各人习惯不同,要吃烂的或(?)稀的,为了适应这些实际需要,使老师们吃好,学校党支部经过研究,就建议工会为大家生了一个经济煤炉,现在不管是白天还是晚上,有些老师就可以根据需要把饭菜加热或者加工复制了。
