改革开放以来,随着我国人民生活水平的不断提高,大而全的电视频道和节目越来越不能满足人们对专业知识和信息的渴望与需求。电视媒介市场开始细化,电视频道资源重新调整定位,经济、都市、少儿、体育、科教等专业化频道和节目的出现,明确了人们收看电视的目的性和指向性。不仅如此,随着有线付费电视频道的发展与壮大,高尔夫、足球、围棋、汽车、育婴等更为细化的小众专业化频道和节目也随之诞生。
