考古学早已是现代学术的显学,在二十世纪,尤其是后半叶,中国的考古事业逐渐步入黄金时代,一系列科学发掘,使世人得以一窥古代中国尘封已久的历史遗迹和历尽沧桑的瑰丽珍宝。随着现代传媒的介入,考古工作重要而神秘的一面被展现在世人面前。今天,考古已经逐渐成为人民群众普遍关注的科学。时代和学科的发展越来越要求考古学家要面对大众,把学术普及给社会,传播给人民,提高广大群众对于我们的祖先创造的辉煌灿烂的历史文化的认识,增强我们的民族凝聚力和自豪感,同时教育增强群众的文物保护意识。
Archeology has long been an obvious academic study of modern science.
