南唐保大五年(947年)正月,契丹皇帝耶律德光进入开封,向南唐发出册立元宗李?为中原主的信息。《江南野史》首记此事,除马令采入《南唐书》外,其它重要史籍均未记录,颇有孤论难立之虞,治史者亦怀疑它的可靠性。时人徐铉集里有三篇论文涉及此事,尤其选《送谢仲宣员外使北蕃序》提供了一些资料,可以消除怀疑,可以补史籍的缺失,找回《江南野史》载文失掉的环节,大大地有助于对册立一事作进一步的探索。
