勤俭建国、艰苦奋斗历来是我们党的光荣传统,也是中华民族的传统美德。尽管近些年来,我国综合国力大幅增强,人民生活水平显著提高,但我国仍处于并将长期处于社会主义初级阶段这个最大的国情没有变,仍然有数以万计的农村群众生活还很困难。勤俭节约必须从现在抓起,这是我们顺应基本国情的长期立业之本,也是全面建成小康社会,实现中华民族伟大复兴的必然要求。
Thrifty building a nation, hard work has always been our party’s glorious tradition, but also the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. Although the overall national strength of our country has risen sharply and the standard of living of the people has risen significantly in recent years, our country is still in and will remain at the initial stage of socialism for a long time. This biggest national condition has not changed. It is still still difficult for tens of thousands of rural people to live in China. Thrifty and frugal must be grasped from now on. This is the basis for our long-term success in our undertaking of adapting to the basic national conditions as well as the necessary requirement for the well-off society in an all-round way and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
