最近几个月来,河北省徐水县一下子成为全省乃至全国人民談論的題目和学習的榜样;各地前去参观訪問的人絡繹于途,报刊上發表了許多报道文章,歌頌徐水的詩和画也有很多。所以这样的原因是大家都清楚的,这就是徐水在大躍进中取得了丰收,在丰收当中比較早地轉为人民公社。康濯的特写集《毛主席到了徐水》就是报道这个进程的一本書。这个特写集共分三部分,第一部分是关于毛主席、刘少奇同志视察徐水的报道;第二部分是沸腾的躍进生活的特写;第三部分是兩篇充滿激情的散文。全書共二十四篇,虽然是个短篇集子,但前后呼应,自成系統,热情激荡澎湃,形象鮮明生动,成为一幅社会主义大躍进的图画或一部人民公社贊美詩似的作品。
