北京奥运的激情已经点燃,古奥林匹克遗址圣火从天而降,山西人民的梦想即将传递,山西省选拔的377名火炬手也已水落石出。火炬手覆盖了我省11个市各个行业,体现了火炬手选拔的广泛性和代表性;火炬手包括煤炭、电力、钢铁、重工业的代表,突出了我省产业结构的特点;火炬手年龄最大的有90岁、最小的才14岁,反映了广大群众参与奥运的热情;火炬手有农村全民健身带头人邢小丑、国家级演员阎维文、致力于平遥古城保护和发展的美国友人莫根等先进人物。
