有人说老舍先生《茶馆》的第一幕戏好。老合先生说:“也许就是出过一次废品的功劳。”“一次废品”,是指老舍先生花了许多劳动,后来扔掉了,又丝毫不感到可惜某剧的一场戏。《茶馆》的第一幕,用的就是那一场戏。虽然不完全一样,但因为相似的场面老舍先生写过一次,所以再写,就感到得心应手,就容易写得更成熟,更精炼。而结果正是这样。从一定的意义上说,“废品”是正品之母。不少正品是从“废品”,发展、过渡、演变而来的。“废品的功劳”,就在于
