This paper proposes that the deposition of coastal wind-blown sand and coastal dust deposition are caused by wind-blown sand activities controlled by the northeast monsoon wind during the late Pleistocene. The duration of each phase of sand flow is not constant. The leading edge of its prevailing wind direction produces dust deposition as the wind decays, forming a coastal sand-dust deposition matching belt. China’s coastal zone can be divided into four coastal sandstorms-coastal dust deposition matching areas from north to south. Coastal winds-coastal dust deposits are characterized by multiple and high-frequency variations. Together with the more overlapping layers of soil, flood-flood accumulation and erosional discontinuities, these can be the hallmarks of climate-environment discrimination during Late Pleistocene.
