《石涛画语录》 ,在 2 0世纪 6 0年代之前通行的是“画语录”一系的版本 ,1 95 9年一本据说为石涛自书的《画谱》本被“发现” ,它被视为石涛生前的定稿本 ,由石涛亲自手书 ,并对早前《画语录》中激进思想作了大幅修改 ,反映了石涛晚年思想趋于保守的倾向。如今 ,《画谱》本为石涛晚年手定的说法几乎成为定论。其实 ,《画谱》本是个伪本 ,此本刊刻之时 ,石涛早已过世 ,《画谱》是由作序者胡琪篡改而刊刻的 ,《画谱》的书写者可能为石涛弟子、代笔者石乾。由《画谱》而出现的对晚年石涛思想趋于保守的判断是没有根据的
