提起“奥运会”这三个字,几乎是无人不知无人不晓,甚至三岁的儿童也能说出几位奥运会体育明星的尊姓大名。但是,人们对1989年日本关东平原特别奥林匹克运动会知之不多,在此对其略作介绍。关东平原特别奥运会之所以特殊,是因为它不是普通的奥运会。参加特别奥运会的选手都是残疾青少年。特别奥运会的誓言是:“让我取得胜利。但是,如果我不能取得胜利,让我成为勇敢的尝试者。”这简单的誓言,表明了残疾青少年身残志不残、勇于克服人
When you bring up the “Olympic Games”, almost no one knows that nobody knows. Even three-year-olds can name a few Olympic sports stars. However, people are not familiar with the Special Olympics Games in Japan’s Kanto Plain in 1989 and are briefly introduced here. The Kanto Plain Special Olympics is special because it is not an ordinary Olympics. All the participants in the special Olympics are disabled teenagers. The vow of the special Olympics is: “Let me win, but if I can not win, let me be a brave man.” This simple oath shows that young people with disabilities are able to overcome their hardships and overcome their hardships
