2012年英伦奥运大战,羽毛球赛场无疑是一个众目聚焦之地。除了新闻媒体的格外关注,球馆内跌宕起伏、惊心动魄的争夺场面,也牵动了亿万观众的心。平心而论,本届奥运会羽毛球比赛之精彩、搏杀之惨烈,远远超过了世锦赛以及一般性的公开赛。比赛期间,运动员因急性损伤中途退赛的就有3人(波兰男双运动员、日本女单选手佐藤讶香、中国女单选手汪鑫),而一些小伤小病更是不计其数。这一方面说明了比赛的激烈,另一方面表明:
