豫豆18号大豆新品种是河南省农科院经作所为克服豫豆2号等大豆品种粒大不易全苗、裂荚不易收获等问题,从1984年起。用郑80024-10(跃进5号×77249。晚熟、优质、主茎密荚型)×中豆19号(早熟、多枝、抗裂荚型)杂交选择中间类型株型结构为主攻方向,经10年16个世代定向选择而育成的高产、稳产、早熟、抗病、抗裂荚、优质大豆新品种。
