冯友兰是第一位从中国哲学史的广阔视野研究毛泽东思想的哲学史家。他着眼于从毛泽东思想与中国传统文化的关系,揭示毛泽东的认识论和辩证法思想对中国传统哲学的继承与发展。同时,他站在传统哲学辩证法思想的立场,就毛泽东的辩证法思想与中国传统哲学精神相背离之处提出了个人的见解。尽管他的某些观点富有争议,但对我们把握毛泽东思想的理论特色具有一定的启迪作用。
Feng Youlan was the first philosopher of history to study Mao Zedong Thought from a broad perspective of the history of Chinese philosophy. He focuses on the relationship between Mao Zedong Thought and Chinese traditional culture and reveals the succession and development of Mao Zedong’s epistemology and dialectics to Chinese traditional philosophy. At the same time, he stands in the position of traditional philosophical dialectics and puts forward his personal opinions on the departure of Mao Zedong’s dialectics from the spirit of Chinese traditional philosophy. Although some of his views are controversial, they have some enlightenment on grasping the theoretical features of Mao Zedong Thought.
