短膜壳(虫条)虫分布于世界各地,但温带、热带地区较寒带地区多见。国内(包括台湾省)也有报导。我院首次发现该虫病,现报导于下。病例简要:患儿毕××女 4岁乌海市人。患儿于1986年3月30日出现抽搐10余天,意识不清,经当地治疗无效前来我院就诊。于4月23日以病毒性脑炎收入院,门诊曾用生理盐水涂片法检查大便,镜下5张片均发现1—3/HP 短膜壳(虫条)虫卵。住院后也查出几次。用同样方法检查患儿父母,三次均未查出此虫。又将患儿兄,6岁做同样检
