在小麦丰产田中,观察到叶色出现“青、黄”节奏变化:由“青”转“黄”,再由“黄”转“青”,“显黄”出现在拔节期。叶色变化决定于当时植株上层叶片的生理年龄与生理状况。此种有节奏的叶色变化与产量形成有密切联系。返青期的“青”,在于增加物质积累,巩固分蘖,增加成穗率;拔节期的“黄”,促进物质向新生器官调配,协调植株各部器官的生长;孕穗期的“青”,对巩固大穗有利。增施腊肥为苏南地区控制小麦叶色出现正常“青、黄”节奏变化的主要施肥措施。
