In today’s semiotic world, Umberto Eco is a name for itself. Ai Ke’s extensive and profound semiotic study has done a lot in general semiotic theory, cultural semiotic research, architectural semiotics and semiotic hermeneutics. His brilliant academic career began with the University of Turin in Italy: under the guidance of his mentor, renowned esthetician and existentialist philosopher Luigi Pareyson, Eaux worked on the study of medieval semiotics And completed his doctoral dissertation The Aesthetics of Thomas Aquinas. In this series of “Symbols and the Media,” we are fortunate to have invited several semiotics from Turin’s Almaic alma mater to work together to create a special topic on the status quo and academic aspects of the Turin semiotics Results.
